The Economist does an article about crowdsourced science, and features work by professors of the Master in Global Environmental Change. The Old Weather project, which calls on online volunteers to help transcribe ship logs to yield information about climate change, is called “perhaps the cleverest [crowdsourcing science project] yet”.
